RV driving is all about hitting the open road for a little "you" time. But when accidents happen, the last thing you want is to feel alone. Here's how you can reach out to file an RV claim when you need help the most.

how to file an RV claim
The easiest way to file your claim is to log into your policy and report an RV claim online. Calling the number above works, too, of course.
It helps to have the following information on hand when you file a claim:
- Number of people involved and their names
- Addresses and phone numbers of all people involved
- Details of others' insurance companies (company name, specific policy number, phone number, and address, if possible)
- License plate numbers of all vehicles involved
- Descriptions of other vehicles involved, including year, make, and model
- Witness names and contact information
- Photos of any damage
If you don't have everything on the list, that's OK. But the more details you can gather at the scene of the accident, the smoother the claims and repair processes tend to go.
Non-collision RV claim
If you need to file non-collision RV insurance claims, such as theft or fire, you should call the appropriate authorities (police, fire department) to address your situation. Make note of the responders' names to give to your insurer later on.
Once you have it squared away, make a detailed list of any stolen items, take pictures of any damage, and file your claim.
Repairing your RV
After you've filed your RV claim, a claims adjuster will schedule an appointment to view any damage to your vehicle. Most ordinary repair shops can't accommodate RVs, but your rep can guide you to reliable places that will.
In most cases, your insurer will pay repair, replacement, or injury costs up to the level of coverage you have on your RV insurance.
