Esurance Honors Phoenix Employee’s Dedication

Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal car insurance company, is honoring Phoenix employee Jerry Morris for his professional commitment in its "Face of Esurance" recognition program.
The program highlights employees who make strong contributions to promoting inclusion, respect for others, and innovation in the workplace.
Jerry is a seasoned claims investigator who joined Esurance a year ago. He exemplifies many of the company's core cultural values, such as always putting customers first, valuing one's colleagues, and being a good listener and leader.
In addition to these qualities, Jerry's knowledge and experience make him a great resource. His coworkers often ask to sit near him so that they can learn from him. He accommodates these requests by moving his desk every quarter, but says he feels it's more so he can learn from others.
"My best moment here was when I was accepted onto the Phoenix team," Jerry said. "I love spending my days reviewing files, asking questions, and looking for answers. It's exciting work."

A retired police officer, Jerry continues to serve his community. While living in Texas, he spent 10 years as a reservist for the Dalworthington Gardens Department of Public Safety and helped his wife deliver meals to seniors and disabled citizens. He's chosen Susan G. Komen for the Cure® as the recipient of his grant because breast cancer has struck close to home, affecting several family members and friends.
