If you're an Esurance policyholder, call us at 1-800-ESURANCE (1-800-378-7262) to enroll.

If you're a current DriveSense user, log in to view your driving summary.

With DriveSense, you can earn a personalized discount based on how you drive, not how someone sorta like you drives. You'll even get a discount just for signing up.

Plus check out our latest commercial to see how a sorta valet driver, isn't really a valet driver at all.

how the DriveSense discount works

When you sign up for DriveSense, you'll automatically receive a 5 or 10 percent discount depending on your state. After that, you could earn a personalized discount each subsequent policy term based specifically on your driving. The safer you drive, the more you could save.

Rest assured, we won't raise your rates based on your participation in the program. You may, however, see a change in your premium if your DriveSense discount changes. Your discount is personalized based on your driving habits, which means it could go up or down from term to term. (Of course, if you don't drive safely, you may not earn a discount at all.)

how the DriveSense program works

DriveSense is available for non-hybrid and non-electric cars from model year 1996 or later. When you sign up, we'll send you a small telematics device, which easily plugs into your car's onboard diagnostics (OBD-II) port.

To determine your personalized discount (if any), the DriveSense device records driving data, such as mileage, speed, time of day, and risky behaviors like sudden acceleration and hard braking. It then transmits that data to your personalized website. (As with all your information, we maintain the utmost commitment to your privacy and security.)

On your website, you can monitor and analyze your driving habits to improve your driving and help maximize your savings.
