That's why Esurance hired me, Dennis Quaid, as their spokesperson because apparently, I'm highly likeable.
WOMAN: I like Dennis Quaid.
DENNIS QUAID: Awww. And they want me to let you know that, cue over dramatic music, they're on a mission to make insurance painless.
WOMAN: Excuse me. Dennis Quaid, you dropped this.
DENNIS QUAID: Yes I did.
See, they know it's confusing.
MAN IN CAFE: I literally have no idea what I'm getting.
DENNIS QUAID: That's why they're making it simple, so that even actors like us can understand it.
MAN IN CAFE: I'm not actor.
WOMAN NEXT TO CAR: No I don't want to wait on hold-
DENNIS QUAID: And they know it's a hassle. So they're making it easy to use. Boop. That was me making that noise, not your phone.
WOMAN NEXT TO CAR: Yeah I know.
DENNIS QUAID: And they know it's expensive.
MAN IN KITCHEN: I feel like I'm giving my money away.
DENNIS QUAID: So they're making it affordable.
MAN IN KITCHEN: Wow, thank you Dennis Quaid.
DENNIS QUAID: You're welcome, guy in kitchen.
MAN IN KITCHEN: I named my character Walter.
DENNIS QUAID: That's great.
DENNIS QUAID: Now, you might not believe any of this since this is a television commercial.
CHILD ACTOR: It's true. Modern consumers are skeptical of the advertising industry.
DENNIS QUAID: Good point, child actor. But that's why they're being so transparent about all of this. Anyways, this is the end of the commercial where I walk off into a very dramatic sunset to reveal the new Esurance tagline so that you'll remember it.
