Esurance Gets Animated Over W!LDBRAIN’s Presence at Vail Film Festival
SAN
FRANCISCO, CA – April 2, 2008 – Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal auto
insurance company, is teaming up with W!LDBRAIN, the award-winning animation
studio and entertainment company that develops and produces television
programming, motion pictures, commercial content, and licensed merchandise, at
the fifth annual Vail Film Festival. Phil Robinson, co-founder of W!LDBRAIN
and director of Esurance's cutting-edge commercial spots, will provide
an overview of his studio, followed by a presentation from Pixar Animation
Studios' Dylan Brown, supervising animator for the Academy Award-winning film “Ratatouille."
The Esurance Animation Showcase is the festival's first-ever stand-alone
animation program.

W!LDBRAIN and Esurance have collaborated on the auto
insurance company's popular “Erin Esurance" advertisements since May 2004. The two
companies have produced approximately 40 commercials and promotional elements
featuring Erin Esurance over the past four years. In 2008, W!LDBRAIN and Esurance
have incorporated live action elements into the spots for the first time.
Robinson,

The
Esurance Animation Showcase will feature the work of several award-winning
animators, including Bill Plympton and Juan Pablo Zaramella, as well as recent shorts
from Pixar and Disney. The special presentation by W!LDBRAIN and Pixar begins Saturday, April 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the Mountain School,
at 3000 Booth Falls Road
