Esurance and Recycled Rides
Esurance
proudly participates in the National Auto Body Counsel (NABC) Recycled Rides program, which works to provide reliable transportation
for families in need. Esurance donates vehicles, works with body shops to
complete the repairs, and participates in hand-off ceremonies across the
country.
The first ride we recycled was a vehicle that had been totaled in one of our Colorado losses. After
we donated the vehicle, the technicians at Jordan Road CARSTAR Collision, one
of our E-star partners, generously donated their time to repairing it, and
local suppliers donated parts.
On November
25, 2008, we attended the vehicle hand-off ceremony for the Lewis family at
Jordan Road CARSTAR Collision in Colorado.
Karyl Lewis, our Recycled Ride recipient, was accompanied to the ceremony by
her son, 2 nephews and best friend. She was ecstatic when she sat in her new
vehicle for the first time!
