- Theft

______
CarMatch Rental Coverage™
CarMatch Rental Coverage™ is designed to provide a hassle-free experience should you ever need a rental car. Please note that this coverage is optional, and can only be purchased if your policy includes both collision and comprehensive coverage.
What's covered?
If your vehicle is stolen or in the shop for repairs related to a comprehensive or collision claim, CarMatch Rental Coverage™ ensures that you will receive the use of a rental car comparable in class to the vehicle you drive regularly.
How is this coverage different than regular rental coverage?
Standard rental options cover your costs on a per-day or per-incident basis, up to a maximum dollar amount. These limits are often too low to cover the cost of a rental car similar in class to the vehicle you're used to driving. When that happens, you have to either settle for a lower vehicle class or spend your own money to upgrade.
CarMatch Rental Coverage™, on the other hand, covers the full rental cost of a vehicle comparable to yours for a period of up to 45 days or until rental car charges total $3,000 (whichever occurs first). In most cases, thanks to significantly higher limits, there's no additional cost to you.
How much protection does this coverage provide?
This coverage will cover the cost of a rental car in the vehicle class description you see on your policy, which is the class that your vehicle matches.
How are vehicle classes determined?
Your vehicle class is assigned based on standard vehicle classifications set by national rental car providers. CarMatch Rental Coverage™ vehicle classes are determined as follows:
- Intermediate: Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, or similar
- Standard: Ford Fusion or similar
- Full: Chevy Impala, Nissan Altima, Dodge Charger, or similar
- Small truck/small SUV: Chevy Colorado, Ford Escape, or similar
- Large truck/medium SUV/minivan: Chevy Silverado, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Grand Caravan, or similar
- Luxury: Cadillac DTS, Lincoln Town Car, or similar
