One of the features we offer to make life simpler for you is 24-hour claims service. Our customer service reps are available around the clock to take your call, and our online claims feature provides another quick, hassle-free way to report and view your claim any time.
Bryan Morrison, on our Dallas claims team, filled us in on the online claims process and answered a few questions.
If I need to file a claim, what's my first step?
The first thing you need to do is contact Esurance to report your claim. You can
file your claim online, or call 1-800-ESURANCE (1-800-378-7262) any time day or night.
How does the online claims feature make life easier?
Esurance lets you access all your claims info online. You can check the status of your claim 24 hours a day, and you'll be notified by email as your claim status is updated. For example, as soon as your claim's assigned, we'll let you know your representative's name and contact info. These features mean you know what's happening with your claim every step of the way.
Can I see photos of my car during the repair process?
Yes! That's another great feature we offer. If you have your vehicle repaired at one of our E-star facilities, you can view daily photos of your car throughout the repair process. You can even email the repair shop directly if you have any questions.
What if I run into a problem? Can I still talk to someone?
Absolutely! We designed our online claims feature to enhance rather than replace human interactions. Whether you file your claim online or over the phone, you'll be assigned a personal claims rep who will work with you until your car's back on the road.
