Esurance Provides Gift of Life in Pinellas County, Florida

San Francisco, CA — August 10, 2006

Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal auto insurance company, is supporting AIDS Service Association of Pinellas (ASAP) with an innovative sponsorship, the Gift of Life. Benefiting residents of Pinellas County, Esurance's support will help ASAP provide up to $2,000 per year toward an individual's co-pays for essential medication.

Kristin Brewe, Esurance's Director of Brand and Public Relations stated, "Esurance is extremely proud to work with ASAP to help provide life-saving medications to a worthy individual. Though the fight against HIV/AIDS is far from over, events like this show that there's hope in our communities, and, more immediately, help."

The Gift of Life is just one of the fundraising efforts that are part of the Saturday, September 9, AIDS Walk St. Petersburg in North Shore Park. The volunteer-driven 5K walk will benefit clients of ASAP, a division of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. In 2006, organizers hope that AIDS Walk St. Petersburg will reach a goal of over 1,000 walkers, raising more than $75,000. All funds raised for the Walk will remain in Pinellas County, serving ASAP clients.

Brian Sprague, Director of Marketing and Publicity for AIDS Walk St. Petersburg stated, "Thanks to contributions from companies like Esurance, another HIV-positive resident in Pinellas County will now be ensured one year of much-needed, life-sustaining medication. However, because there always remains a need in our community, we hope that 2006 shows record turnout and support for AIDS Walk St. Petersburg."
