How do I change the loan/lease information on my auto insurance policy?

At Esurance, we pride ourselves on making it easy for you to update your auto insurance policy. That's why when you log into your account it never takes more than a few steps to make changes to your policy. If you need to update your loan/lease information, you'll find it'll take only minutes.

After you log into your policy, you'll see a summary of your auto insurance policy information. To make changes to your loan/lease information, just click on the "edit cars" button next to the list of cars. You'll be able to choose whether your car is paid for, financed, or leased. If your car is financed or leased, we'll ask you to provide further loan/lease information.

You can also make changes by clicking on the "Cars" tab at the top of the page. When you see your car summary, simply click the "edit/remove" button next to the vehicle you'd like to update. Changes are usually processed within 24 hours.

When changes regarding your car insurance policy occur, we encourage you to update your account ASAP. With 24/7 online account management, you can make changes to your car insurance policy when it's most convenient for you.
