How do I change the driver information listed on my auto insurance policy?
When it comes to your car insurance policy, certain driver information, like your birthday, will never change. However, other info you've listed on your policy can. Therefore, Esurance makes it easy to make changes to your auto insurance policy when changes in your life occur.
After you log into your policy, you'll see a summary of your policy information. To make changes to the driver information listed or to remove a driver, just click on the "edit driver" button next to the list of drivers. You'll then be asked when you want your changes to be effective. Once you choose a date, you'll see a summary of all your contact information, which you can then edit. Changes are usually processed within 24 hours.
If you need to add a driver to your auto insurance policy, you can do that online too. Simply click the "add driver" button, and you'll be able to fill in information for the new driver on your policy. You can also make changes by clicking on the "Drivers" tab at the top of the page.
