What if my auto insurance payments are past due?
With so many bills to pay, it's easy for one to occasionally slip your mind. To make things easier, Esurance bills your credit, debit, or ATM card, or your checking or savings account automatically when you're auto insurance payment is due. With automatic payments, you have one less bill to worry about — and great auto insurance to boot!
For your convenience, we'll always send a reminder email before we bill your account. If we're unable to withdraw payments because of insufficient funds or incorrect billing information, your payments will be considered late. In order to avoid this situation, make sure you plan ahead and keep us updated on any changes to your billing info.
If we're unable to charge you for your auto insurance, we'll email you letting you know that your payment is late. You'll be able to make your late payment online or over the phone. Be advised, however, that if we haven't received your payment after 30 days, your policy will be canceled. Because we never want to have to cancel a policy, we'll continue to send email reminders if you do not make a payment or we're unable to charge your account.
Fortunately, Esurance makes it easy for you to check when your next payment is due. All you have to do is log into your Esurance policy. There, you can find information about your auto insurance policy, including payment information. Wondering how much you owe? Your payment summary will tell you. Not sure when your payment's due? That information is provided as well!
Esurance strives to make auto insurance easy. And with online account management and automatic bill pay, it is!
