FAQ: Managing Your Esurance Account Online
How do I add or delete a car from my auto insurance policy?
Did you just buy Junior a new car for bringing home good grades? Or did Junior get a job and offer to pay for his own auto insurance policy? Either way, you'll need to make changes to the cars listed on your auto insurance policy. Luckily, with Esurance's easy online account management, changing information about the car(s) on your auto insurance policy takes only minutes.
After you log into your Esurance account, you'll see a summary of your account information. To add a car to your auto insurance policy, simply click on the “add car” button and fill in the new car's information. If your premium increases due to this newest addition, you'll be charged an interim payment. We'll always send you an email before any payments are withdrawn, however.
If you need you need to remove a car, or to make changes to your car's information, click on the “edit cars” button. You can also edit your car information by going to the “Cars” tab at the top of the page.
Changes to your auto insurance policy generally take 24 hours to be processed. If you are have any questions about making changes to your auto insurance policy, feel free to call our Customer Service Center anytime, day or night.
