South Portland Riverbank Tree Planting
More than 20 volunteers, including 5 Esurance policyholders, gathered on this cold December day to plant trees and fortify existing trees along the South Portland riverbank. Esurance partnered with Friends of Trees to sponsor the event.

Carbon Offset Day with EarthCorps
EarthCorps, in partnership with Esurance, led volunteers at sites throughout the greater Seattle area to plant over 3,000 trees and plants in the first-ever Carbon Offset Day. Volunteers, including Seattle City Council Member Richard Conlin, also learned other ways to reduce or offset their carbon emissions. Governor Christine Gregoire proclaimed November 10 as the state's Carbon Offset Day.

Flowering Tree Planting
Over 30 volunteers planted 26 flowering trees in Lake Island Park. Esurance worked with T.R.E.E., Inc. and the city's Parks and Recreation Department to add some green as well as some pink, purple, yellow, and white plants to the flourishing city.
