Pet insurance pays your vet bills if your dog or cat becomes ill or is injured. All
Petplan policies provide comprehensive coverage for veterinary treatment arising out
of an illness or injury (provided that it is not pre-existing or occured during the waiting
period) including hospitalization, surgery, laboratory and diagnostic testing, X-rays,
MRIs, prescription drugs, alternative therapies, and specialist treatment.

Petplan is pleased to offer convenient, customizable plans with a choice of
deductibles and coinsurance so pet owners can choose a plan that suits their needs
and budget.

The following coverage is included as standard in all Petplan policies with no
additional premium or surcharges:

Reimbursement is based on the actual amount paid to the veterinary clinic, instead
of a benefit schedule or a usual and customary schedule. There are no time or dollar
limits per condition. Instead, there's a simple annual limit, with no individual price
increases based on claims activity.
