We get a lot of questions about marketing and advertising at Esurance. Here are some answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.

I'm a salesperson and want to get in touch with Esurance. How do I proceed?
Sorry to disappoint, but Esurance does not accept cold calls, and if you telephone, you're unlikely to get a response. Please send all marketing proposals and media kits electronically here.

All materials are reviewed by a live person who assigns the items to the appropriate area. If you don't hear from us within 5 business days, it means we're not interested right now, so please don't send several emails to this address or to individual Esurance associates asking for follow-up. Your information will be kept on file for future reference.

If you don't follow this procedure, we may not get to work with you, and that would be a real shame!

I'm doing a school project on marketing and advertising and I need help! Whom should I contact?
We like to help up-and-coming talent. That's why Esurance has helped a lot of people with their college or graduate-level projects, particularly for marketing and advertising case studies or creative projects. (We've also helped some high school students too!)

Which agency do you use to create your ads? Who does the animation in the TV ads?
Esurance has an in-house creative team that handles advertising and communications.

For animation, we've teamed up with the wonderful talents at Special Agent Productions, based in San Francisco.

Most of our TV work is Flash animation, though we have also been incorporating live action elements (specifically, actual customers) for our “Get Animated” campaign since 2008. In 2009, we created special edition CG commercials to help promote the latest Star Trek film.

When did that pink-haired Erin Esurance first appear on the scene?
Our animated “special agent” Erin Esurance made her first appearance on the airwaves in select local markets in July 2004. In 2006, Esurance started advertising nationally and Erin was seen on TV sets all over the U.S. Erin has appeared with "Space Ghost," on the Sci-Fi network's “Who Wants to Be a Superhero?,” and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Erin has also appeared in her own 3-minute adventure, "Carbon Copy."
