FAQ: Your Policy Documents
What if I lose my insurance card?
Being insured isn’t enough. It’s also important that you carry your insurance card in your car at all times. If you get pulled over or find yourself in an accident, that little piece of paper acts as proof that you and your car are insured.
If you happen to lose your insurance card, Esurance makes it easy for you to replace it. Unlike most companies that would have to send you a replacement card in the mail, Esurance stores all your documents (including your insurance card) in your online account for easy access at any time.
If you lose your insurance card, or any of your insurance documents, simply log into your account with your email address and password, and print a new one. You can do this by going to the “Your Documents" section. In this section you can view and print your insurance cards, billing invoices, and auto insurance policy documents.
If you need to make changes to your auto insurance policy, you can do so without even picking up the phone. Changes and even minor claims can be made online, so you can do it on your own time, not someone else’s.
With Esurance, there’s no need to wait by the mailbox hoping that your important insurance documents have finally arrived. Your documents are available to you 24/7. Should your Internet connection go down or if you have a question, you can always call our friendly and helpful customer service representatives. Just like your documents, they’re available round-the-clock to help you.
